We provide a real-time, unit-aware calculator that converts volume (e.g., yd³, ft³, m³) to weight (e.g., US tons, metric tons, pounds, kilograms) using material density presets (e.g., topsoil, mulch, sand, gravel, crushed limestone, asphalt, concrete) and a custom “Other” option. Results are estimates intended for general guidance only; moisture, compaction, gradation, and mix designs can significantly affect actual weights. Always confirm density with your supplier for ordering and compliance purposes.

2) Your responsibilities

• Use CubicYardsToTons.com lawfully and responsibly.
• Verify calculator outputs with your supplier before purchasing, permitting, or scheduling deliveries.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or scrape the service.
• You are responsible for any decisions you make using the results (including cost, logistics, or compliance).

3) Features & limitations

• Material presets are typical averages and may not match your site conditions.
• “Decimals” controls only affect display precision—not underlying material variability.
• “Share result” copies a summary to your clipboard; you are responsible for where you paste/share it.
• Where available, unit toggles for density (t/yd³, lb/ft³, kg/m³) are provided as conveniences.
• This site does not provide engineering, construction, legal, or procurement advice.

4) Intellectual property

The site’s design, text, code, and branding are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not reproduce, mirror, or redistribute significant portions without permission, except as allowed by fair use or applicable law.

5) No warranties
